Both my side and my husband's side of the family are doing Yankee swaps for Christmas. It is a per person set up, so we each bring a gift to each event, a total of 4 grab gifts. The money limit is $25.

Any ideas on something fun and original to bring?? I know there's always gift certificates and candles and stuff like that, but I wanted to come up with something really great.

We live out of town from the rest of the family and every year we drive and drive on Christmas Eve, stay over night, then drive home on Christmas Day, then Boxing Day we have to drive hours in the opposite direction to visit extended family. Not to mention we have another extended family party to drive out of town for on the 23rd. I want to break tradition and tell my family I want to stay home for Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, but I don't want to hurt their feelings! Please advise!

We've been married for 2 1/2 months. 2nd marriages. I make more money then my husband. Now, I have found that he is just expecting me to pay for things. I pay all household bills, car insurances, food ect... He has to pay child support so I respect that fact and only expect him to pay for our health insurance - $40.00 a week. Now, I've gone out of my way to make a great Christmas for everyone including his son in Fl. He hasn't paid anything - keeps saying he will, but NEVER see any money. He goes bowling on Thurs nights and drinks it up. What do I do? I've said something a few times but then I get blamed for being a bit--. Help! He is draining me! I don't mind sharing, but this is too much.

Husband had to go for work for a month out of state to finish a job for construction/electrical. him and his friend went to a bar, he saw a girl he liked, took off his wedding band, went over and told her his name, told her he was single and they had a drink together. (there was 3 or 4 of them all in a group)

they all left the bar, went to a party and just stood there and talked all night. (husband told me he wanted to see how far this could go, just to feed his ego he claims he never did anything like this before)

he claims, that when the party ended they were all going to breakfast late night and when they got there, he chickened out and showed her his ring and walked out.

if this story is true, would you say thats cheating? becuase i do.

i think also, im no idiot, that this is prob not the entire story either.

These days I have been filled with aniexty, stress, and negative thoughts. After I reinjuried my foot, it hasn't been getting much better. It seems to stay in this one shape all day long. I just recently read an article that said thinking postive keeps your heart in good shape, will this do the same to speed up the recovery of my foot? I'm finally going to a ortopisetist today and I'll ask the same question as well.
