My mom is 60 years old, but refuses to take proper care of herself. Any advice out there?

Sure, we have a great healthcare system in the United States.....for those who can afford it. We live under a system where the more money you make, the better healthcare you get and receive. We are the only free-industrialized nation, where we have elderly that are forced to make a choice to take their medicine or eat, because they can not afford both. We are the only free-industrialized nation, where we have citizens, who do not even have health insurance or the means to pay for healthcare. You may say "get a job", but in some areas in America jobs are "scrace" and not obtainable.....so, for these poor citizens in these conditions, the only solution is.....do not get sick or injured. Oh, yes, some have innocent children, too. So, I think it is time to stop getting so defensive of this politicial party and that one and "pull our heads out of the sand" and start taking a stand for those in America who NEED healthcare. So, you can either be a defender of "greed" or "compassion".

My wife and I made the mistake about talking to other people regarding our relationship. We just needed support but we turned and bitched to family. Never really understood the damage it did. I don’t talk to people anymore about our relationship (even though she doesn’t trust I don’t). However I know she still talks to her family about us but she won’t admit it but every time we fight she’s always on the phone to them. How do I make her realize the damage it does and tell her to knock it off without sounding like I don’t want her to communicate with her family? Why won’t she stop doing that? It’s like she’s too attached to them and it almost feels like she’s having an emotional affair with her family. I don’t want to take the hard road and tell her that if she’s doing it, I’m going to start using other people for support. That wouldn’t be right. It’s interesting to note that her family was nothing to her now it seems I'm nothing and they're great. what the f^%*?

Everyone is always saying how amazing and beautiful my hair is. It's very thick, curly, brown with highlights. They also tell me how much they love it straight. Those are some pictures. The curly ones aren't very good, but I don't really appreciate my curly hair as much as straight hair, so, whatever. And I really don't mean to sound concieted, I'm just really enthusiastic! P.S.-Am I pretty enough to hair model?

Ok...so i forgot to take my birth control the other day and i was just going to double up the next day. So i had sex with my boyfriend...and i forgot to take the 2 pills the next day. The doctor told me that if i miss more than 2 pills that i would have to wait another month to start a new pack. But now i am having cramping and lower back pain like i am going to start my period. Could my body be thinking that it is time to start....or could i be pregnant. the time that i missed my pills were a week from when my period ended...so 2 weeks from when i started. I dont know what the hell is going on here!!

this guy has been in contact with me for over a year. even when i was in my past serious relationship.

we have only kissed eachother.

he always texts me when hes out in town and i do the same. nothing is planned. if we are not out we always say so.

i was out in town this weekend and i text him to see if he was out. he didnt reply. this has happened before.

once we have met up, i dont hear from him for a while and he ignores my texts. i then dont text him anymore and he comes back texting me again as normal.

what does this mean???

i really like this guy.

he is 29 and single.

i have heard that he has never had a girlfriend before and that he likes the chase.

when we are together he never always wants to be with me and he always pays me compliments.

he does know that i came out of a serious 6 year relationship with my fiance 9 months ago.
