i neede help writing an outline for a paper.?

it has to be about symboldsin this book "fallen angels by walter dean myers." can anyone give me ideas on how to write the paper. its on Perry writing home to his momma.

Writing an outline isn't as hard as many think it is or proport it to be.

Start by writing down allthe things you wish to say about the book, it's plot and it's symbolism.

Next, rearrange these statements into groups. Symbolism of one type in one group, and of another type in a second group.

YOu're now done with the simplest form of out line.

You start with a title, and then fill in wher eyou feel it necessary.

Title.
I: General Plot

II Symbolism part I
a. point
b. point
c. more points about symbolism.

III Symbolism part 2
a. point
b. point
c. yet more points

IV Closing.

some things just you just have to come up with yourself, or at least get your teacher to point you in a direction.

page down 4-5 times. As far as an outline: it's intro (of main idea), body (3-4 paragraphs supporting main idea). usually the supporting paragraphs build on each other. And then a conclusion (without using the word "conclusion").
