i just took him to the vet yesterday and he had ear mites, which the vet took care of. He also has diarrhea which he has medicine for. I try pulling a string for him - he's not interested. I pick him up, sometimes he squirms and keeps meowing; other times it does make him quiet. I've had cats my whole life and this has never happened. Everyone keeps saying, "He's just a baby, he needs to get used to his new home." (I just got him on Friday the 8th.) He seems very happy otherwise - always purring and LOVES to cuddle. It's just driving me and my husband nuts! any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thank you!

This is what she reply " ask him to be friend first cause like disconnect so much, restart from friend, then i also can understand him better..
He wont feel insecure that way.. And my commitment also will go naturally..
but, the thing is, he thought its like the end...
I explained to him, but he dont listen..
But lately, he seemed better, though we dont really talk.."
Will she came back for me?

I've been really fortunate to have friends pass on clothing for our two boys. Some have been very generous and given us bins of great clothes. To thank them I've sent a $10 gift card to Target or Old Navy. We aren't rolling in the dough, hence the hand-me-downs, but I really want them to know how much I appreciate it. One even sends the clothes across the country. Is this enough? Any other ideas?

I'm 20 years old.

I'm a 3rd year college student.

I have student loans that I pay the interest on right now.

I want to know what is the best way of starting a retirement fund at my age that won't require me to put it a lot of money.

How do I go about starting up the fund you recommend?

I just want to start now because I know for my generation, retirement money will be an issue.

I am a working mom. I wish I could stay at home, but I married a man with 3 other children, who pays child support and who also carries insurance on his children, our daughter who has a medical condition, and my son who's father is a dead beat and won't get insurance on him. After all this, his bring home is only about $250-300 a week. After paying our mortgage, home insurance, groceries, electricity, water, phone, etc., we would be lucky to break even. Certainly no extra for birthday or Christmas gifts. We certainly wouldn't have money left over for emergency things, like what has happened to us in the past: busted hot water heater, blown up car engine, gas leak. I have seen some say that you can make due with one car. What if that one car breaks down? How would the husband get to work? How would the mom take kids to dr. appt., or to school? Why don't people understand that every family is different, and that some moms have to work? Not to have Coach purses or diamond rings.

It is well documented that our version of football was established before soccer was ever played. Your ancestral barbarians were probably still kicking goat heads around any patch of grass that could be found. Back then, our rules allowed for more kicking of the ball than it is now, hence, the name "football" was attached. Some years later after soccer was being established, an Englishman who enjoyed association football decided to call it "soccer" so as to avoid confusion. It's a term which is marketed by YOUR companies, in YOUR countries, by YOUR teams, with YOUR money that is earned at YOUR games. We don't have it confused. I'm afraid it's you so called connoisseurs who have had it wrong for a great long time.

And by the way, I happen to enjoy football and soccer no matter where they are played. You might benefit from a little open-mindedness.

People get pretty hung up about their wedding cake (among other wedding concerns). Superficial icing aside, is there a genuine tradition or is it part of the confectionary conspiracy? What, if any meaning is there?

OK, I have to move because Florida is way too conservative regarding interracial dating, specifically black/African-American women and white/Caucasian men, so I want to know from people "in the know" (other black/African-American women and white/Caucasian men) what are the best cities for interracial dating? What I mean by that is where can you walk down the street holding hands and not have people shout nasty remarks, where people are more open minded and where love is just that....love. Or...feel free to tell me what I am dreaming because that place does not exist in the United States!!!

I know NYC is on the top of most people's lists, but I am interested in hearing about other cities.

Thanks in advance and happy loving!!!

I went there as a child with my grandparents and loved the place. I have heard since that it isn't safe for caucasion and tourists. Is this true? I am planning a trip to S.F. and wanted to go back to Chinatown, but now I'm having second thoughts. It was a lovely place many years ago and I know things do change.
