Okay here at my college they have set up numerous Christmas trees, but don't put stars on the tops because its supporting the Christian religion. I'm Christian and know that Christmas is a Christian holiday so I think we should be able to put a star on top of the tree, and if people of other religions have a problem they should not be celebrating Christmas altogether. Anyone agree?

I lived in the US for 32 yrs, I had a green card but got a drug conviction in 97. Changed my life around and got remarried in 2002. My husband has an old drug conviction as well - he is a US citizen. The UK won't allow him to come here because of that. My whole family is in the US, I have a grandson I've never seen and I can never go back. We are fighting UK Immigration but I'm so tired of all of it. His charge was for personal possession - he has also been clean now for 6 years. We talk on the phone every day. I work hard in the social sector and pay my taxes and live a quiet life. All I want is for my husband to join me here and for us to get on with our lives.
Yes - we made mistakes, who hasn't? We both turned our lives around - I can't go there and he can't come here - isn't this beyond punishment? This is turning into a life sentence. This will be the third Xmas away from my family - enough is enough already.

I Love my boyfriend so much, and I want to be with him forever. He had some past girls ever since I left him last year, now he's in trouble with some guy, then he comes and sees the girl he was seeing before me and him got back again (we got together again in november of this year). However, she called him, and can you beleive she invited him over and he told me she kissed him but he pushed her back and said he had a girl, but then im like 'why did you go?' and I just get so frustrated. What can I do, he says he trully loves me and wants to marry me some day. I also want to marry him because I love him, but all this gets in the way and
I haven't even been able to sleep. This may seem confusing, but if you have any advice I'd really appreciate it, or anything that you can tell me to make me see or make things better

theres a little boy named johnny who has been wanting a new bike for Christmas for the past 3 years. well fed up,johnny goes to his mom and says,"mom,i have asked santa to bring me a new bike for the past 3 years and he wont and has not done it...what should i do?" the frustrated little boy asked.
"well johnny,i guess you should go and write God a letter and ask Him for the bike"...

The constitution prohibits a person form being compelled to testify agianst oneself. Yet oneself includes thier spouse.

Civil debts of one spouse are legal enforced agianst another, in most states of the union. It not the office of President a Civil Post.

This country has a history of appointing the spouse of representive to complete their term. I assume becuase they have work together.

I'm thinking that America and the world lost a national treasure when Archie Bunker and All in the Family and its spin-off Archie Bunker's Place went off the air back in the early '80s. That kind of humor was very effective in combating narrow-minded bigotry. I think it's time for a new Archie Bunker who defies all the politically correct crap we see these days and brings to light again the true heart of the important issues facing our society today. What do you think?

I was totally in love with her, but we argued over telling my parents/work that we are together. I look exceptionally straight, and have been with men mostly, however I totally fell in love with this woman and believe we could be happy together for the rest of our lives. My ex has approached me again and said she is willing to work it out, and not force me into telling my parents (most of my friends know). However we want to get married. My mum will disown me if she found out. She is very homophobic, as is the rest of my entire family. I am torn between being with the person I love and leaving her so my family never have to know. My monitor keeps turning off irregularly when the PC is on, and sometimes will not go on if i switch it on, although it occasionally does work.
It says "Power-Saving Mode - DVI" right before it turns off.
I've tried readjusting the cables slightly, or replugging them, which helps sometimes, although i'm told that is not the cause of the problem. Is it possible for the monitor not to be recieving any signal from the computer? Or is it an option set, that can be modified somewhere in the settings?

Help!

Her mom and dad are in the middle of getting divorced and her dad has no place to go her dad drinks and sometimes he sllep in a tent.She told she can feel when he is in the tent and she feels that she needs to chck on him.I feel bad for her she gose through all this and sometime well most of the time she gets yelled at by her mom for no reason.
