I earlier asked what the next number was....
1/2, 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, ?
....and a number of you seem to think its 48.
Indeed, 'scotty' was most scathing and said each number was a simple doubling of the number before it and you did not need to be Einstein to work this out. However, I would point out that 1 +1 does not equal 3...as least it did not when I was at school.
I had better give you another clue...
