To understand you question better you could try drawing a number-line. You could also try changing the fractions to decimals.

__ + __ + __ + __ + __ + __ + __ + __ + __ +
-1/3 -1/4 -1/5 -1/6 -1/7 etc... 0

With 1/4 being larger than 1/7 it is farther away from zero since they are negative numbers. The further away from zero the smaller you are. Therefore, -1/4 is smaller than -1/7. (It is only smaller in the case of negative numbers).
If it is underlined that means it is greater/less than or equal to. Since -1/4 and -1/7 are not equal to each other, the answer would not be under lined.

A. -0,25 < - 0, 14

B is not correct because if you place the expressions into the parenthesis, it would reverse the inequality and C would be correct, like (-0,25)>(0,14).

think about it. what number is bigger. is -2 bigger than -1. if you look at it the more negative it get the less value it has. so u get your answer that way
