Call the doctors office when the person answers the phonetell them your name. you can say "hi this is {your name} I was just wondering if I could get a HCG blood test to find out if im pregnant. I do alot of heavy lifting where I work and I dont want to hurt the baby if i am pregnant."The dotcot will probably want to see you before they do a blodd test. but it really depends on the doctor. good luck and take care of yourself if you are pregnant.

just call the doctor and make an appointment and tell them you need a blood test because you think you might be pregnant. I don't see what you should be scared about, if it makes you feel better I am going in today for one because I have been sicker then a dog for over a week with fatigue and upset stomach and certain things I have always liked not tasting good to me now.

You go in and insist on blood work. THey will do a urine test first, and depending on its results they might tell you you dont need blood work because it was negative.
But you can insist. Your insurance will pay for it, or you will pay for it out of pocket if you dont have insurance. You're entitled to treatment, they cannot turn you away. You will just have to insist that you cannot wait a week to test again, you need blood work done now. Tell them low hormones run in your family, that worked for me.

just tell him you are worried that there is a possibilty of you being pregnant, and to be safer then sorry you'd like to know....or ask him for a referal to a gynocologist(which if you've had sex you should be seeing anyways) and tell the gyno your worries....go to the free clinic and have them test you...or just take a good old fashion home pregnancy test, if it says preggers then tell your doc you wish to confirm it's results
