Many races tend to end up moving into the same areas as their friends or the rest of their family, which is why we often have a "Chinatown" in almost every city. For example in Montreal, we have a burrough that is predominantly black (Little Burgundy).

However, there are no laws that require someone of a specific ethnic background to live in a specific place, if that is what you are asking. It is a person's freedom of choice to live where they want.

Perhaps you can clarify why you asked the question. Do you plan to move to some part of Canada and want to live where other blacks have moved? You should explain further since the question itself can be misconstrued.

Why do White people live in Africa?? People can live anywhere in the world, regardless of skin color, Black people come from ALL over the world just like other groups of people. The trans-Atlantic slave trade left Black people in almost every continent but Africans did move out of African WAY before slavery. Does it bother you that Black people live in Canada?

Ha Ha. Every time I've been to Canada, I've never seen any black people. Hmm ... that's a good question--where are they?
