I am a volunteer for the American Red Cross, and have been for several years. I am on call after-hours for Armed Forces Emergency Service needs (I help families of those serving in the armed forces to get messages to their soldier / sailor / marine / airman, and vice versa.).

After a very few, but very well-publicized, instances of misconduct on the part of Red Cross workers in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, the organization has declared that no one may volunteer without submitting to not only an CRIMINAL background check, but also a CREDIT inquiry.

If I were in a position to have my hand in the cookie jar, as it were, I would be better able to understand this. As it is, I am doing a job for which they would have to hire someone -- a job that intrudes on my personal life considerably, with calls at all hours of the night. In effect, I have chosen to do them a favor, and yet they want to know if I pay my JC Penney bill on time, or if I have a student loan.

While my EX and I were still together I caught her going through my cell phone, my dialed calls, recieved calls, and text messages. When I asked her about it she just played it off that she liked my phone (it was when the Razr first came out) and she just wanted to look at it. After that I put the code in to lock it, and then when she tried to look through it and couldn't she got really mad at me. I had nothign to hide, but I felt it was an invasion of my privacy and told her to trust me.
After we sepperated we agreed to be friends, but she is still mad that I locked my phone from her and that it is still locked. Every time I see her she gets some reason to want to see my phone and is still mad that it is locked.

So was she / is she right to be mad?

So we are standing there decorating the Christmas tree and talking about what we need from a relationship. The next thing I know he is breaking up with me. He says that with school and work it is to much work to keep a relationship going. He says that some things have been bothering him for a few weeks now, but never said anything about it. Do you enjoy dining out more if your Waiter or Waitress is hot looking?

Let's assume that they are doing their job correctly first, because hot or not, few things are worse while dining out than unattentive Waitstaff.

NOW...Do you find you enjoy your dining experience more if you have a hot looking Waiter or Waitress serving you?

OR...Do you find it to be too distracting checking out the Waitstaff, that you might be more relaxed with someone that you didn't notice their looks?

ALSO...Do think you are inclined to tip good looking Waitstaff more than someone not as good looking who did the same job?

My 9 year old boy does well on his tests and reports. But the teacher marks him down on the non-academic portion of his report card because he daydreams in class. Ok heres my problem. I havent got my period for two months now. I took a test and it came out neg. Like I would think i'm about to get my period cause I get cramps, headaches on and off and sometimes I feel nausa. I have gotten discharge on and off for the past two months making me think I was going to get my period but it never came yet. Some times it was really thick white sometimes yellow and sometimes clear. My boobs have been hurting on and off too,as of yesterday they started to hurt more and today too. I have noticed since yesterday I have been going pee like every like 20 mins! Please help I dont know whats going on I mean I have been prg. before but had a miscarrage but I dont feel like I didnt before so thats why i'm really puzzled. I have never been two months late only a month! Plus I had sex the other day and after I have a light pink discharge when I went to the bathroom, I dont know if that means i'm going to get my period or what! PLEASE HELP!!!

Im lookin to fill in my music collection with some stuff from a little while ago (1992-2000). At that that time I wasnt as big on it as I am now so I think I may have missed out on quite a bit.
