I work in Bourbonnais Illinois. I work for an american. I want to know if this is right and is there anything I can do about it. I know that when we tip out to the busser we are spost to pay 10 percent of what we make. This girl I work for makes us pay 3-8 dollar tip out. We do not make that. It is a small resturant. I mean if I make 12 dollars she still wants 5 dollars from me and I don't think it is right. It is like this everyday. All the waitress added up what we pay out and it is 150.00 a week and there is only 5 of us girls. I mean we are paying the bussers wages and I think that is wrong. We should not have to pay that the owner of the resturant should. Can anyone help me please. Also you can not tell the owner anything she thinks it is fine. Also she said I have been a waitress for 4 years I know what I am doing. Really she does not know what she is doing. If she was a waitress she would not be robbing us. Please help.

i have been growing my hair out for a while and now it is shaggy. About a week ago i got highlights put in it. so it is like medium blonde shaggy hair with light blonde highlights. i was flippin thru the channels and ran across the tv show the nanny,and i gotta tell ya, america is getn bad! so who out their needs a nanny to tell them how to make their kids behave? a good ol fasioned butt whoopin does the trick,at leased it did for me! i know its just a show but come on,these people are just plain clueless on how to raise their kids,whats this world coming too! i know in some states including mine,that if you spank your kid at the grocery store for misbehaving,and someone sees you and they think it wasnt necessary,they can report you to the authorities and they can have your kids takin away,thats B.S.! A guy at work was talking about oil levels in his car (a 6-cylinder Toyota Solara or something). He was mentioning that he prefers to keep the oil level a bit above the "add oil " mark on the dipstick. He said that the engine operates more efficiently that way, and that as long as the oil remains clean and changed often it isn't a problem. I however prefer to keep my oil near the top of the normal range (which seems to be what everyone does when they change the oil). What is the optimum level? Assuming that my work friend doesn't have problems with oil leaking or the engine overheating, is there any advantage to his way (or is he trying to save on oil????)

My boyfriend and I have been going out for a few months and so far everything has been going great even though we live about 2hours away from each other. I knew that before he met me he used to go on match.com and had a profile. He was honest about that and I once found emails in his inbox that he still got from match.com. However, today I find that his profile is still up on match.com. Everything on his profile is true and accurate, however why is his profile still on when he is in a relationship. Plus, his profile byline is "This site is for rent"..what does that mean. Plus, it says he has logged on to his profile within the last 2 weeks.....HELP!

Hi,

I have a Toshiba Notebook which has given some blue screens about memory. At last I decided to reinstall windows. But when I boot my computer with XP CD, XP setup could not format the harddisk and said there are errors in hdd.

What should i do? Buy a new hdd :( or what :) ?
