Lol. I knoe a guy exactly like that. He talked, ran, and laughed, and even gossiped like a girl. However, he looked exactly like a guy, and it's well known that he's a bisexual (though im not sure if its true). I think its best not to ask him unless its REALLY necessary. It could offend him very much, if its not true, or if it is true, I think it's his own business. If he wants you to know, he'll let you know. The guy I knoe also doesnt want a girlfriend, but if I think about it closely, I really dunt think that hes gay, because he doesnt express genuine interest towards guys. kk

If they say yes then ask them what their sexual preference is, try to stay away from the word "gay" if you're not sure.

he might not be gay. i know lots of guys like that and sensitive that everyone assumes are gay. just ask him. maybe the grlz at your school ARE too dramatic.

Why do you need to know for sure if he is or if he isn't? If you are willing to be his friend whether he is gay or straight, then just accept him for how he is.
When he is willing to admit to himself that he's gay, he'll be more than happy to let you know what his preferences are.
