I have a buddy who's currently signed up in the military for 4 years. He's a Sgt in the Marine Corp and has one more year left. He really wants to be in the LAPD but heard that past use of drugs will not get him in. I know he's going to have to take a lie detector test and he wants to be able to answer everything honestly. He has used meth when he was 17 to 18 on and off before he joined the Corps but he is now 22 and changed his life totally around. Does he still have a chance to go in?

I really like this girl and luckily she seems to like me a lot as well.
ive really been in the position where she is asking me out more than im asking her.
while not playing hard to get, i am trying to make it fun as we have been making bets with her stakes being ill go xxxxxx if i lose etc.
however seem to end up to everything she invites me too. WHICH IS FINE as i have a great time as does she...
i just dont want her to get bored or think im a pansy, or loose the interest level that she seems to have for me.
any thoughts on the subject would be greatly appriciated.

This is to all my happy couples what makes you happy about your mate and what wouldn't you do for your mate? How long have yall been together and when did you fall in love with him or her? do you feel as if this is really real and do you want it to last for a life time? i just got back from the doctor and my blood pressure was 149 over 78..they said the top number was high and i've never had that happen.. my question is, can being overly anxious cause this? i have an anxiety disorder and my anxiety level is pretty high today.

I have a fair-good credit score of (650), but having been focusing on repaying debt, so I really have no cash on hand for a down pmt-especially as prices have gone up. I make a very good income and have been at my job for 7 years, and paying up to $3K mortgage would not be a problem. While I was to start saving for a down, a very close family member wants to help me out & sell me a house as a partial gift. As it stands, about 280K are owed on a 350K mortgage for a house appraised at 400k. Ideally, I would like to buy this house with no down, and maybe get some cash back for improvements. I am just beginning the process, and will consult a mortgage broker soon, but seeing your answers prompted me to ask and perhaps get some valuable insight. Can you provide any thoughts on this? Is this realistic? Would a second mortgage be required? Would a credit line on the house value be a possibility? Thank you. I appreciate all your comments and insight.

Hello everyone, I'm using dsl internet service, Windows XP(5.1),
Service Pack 2, and AVG free(7.1.409.), spysweeper, and Norton
Internet Security as extra security. I've had the above on my
computer four years, and check them all for updates daily.

Ok...here is the situation: AVG detected and stored four viruses in
the vault. This morning I noticed that my customized photo was
replaced(without my permission), with one of Window's default
photos, and I was unable to do a system restore to an earlier date.
Otherwise, the computer "seems" to be running fine, though my
customized photo is no longer in "my pictures" folder.

The name of the four viruses are: Trojan Horse Flooder.AKE, and they are under 4 different file names: winlongon.exe(two of these),
A0079791.exe, and A0079792.exe. The "heal" option doesn't seem to be active, and when I click "heal" in the vault, nothing happens. When I click "details" for each, it says backup copy infected.
