No. We'd have to examine the Martian Bible in order to determine the answer.

First, it is simply conjecture that life could have existed on Mars at any time, and this would have almost certaintly been single-celled microscopic organisms, and therefore this question is dealing only with the hypothetical and cannot be treated as a genuine criticism of Christianity. In fact, the possibility of life doesn't even mean it was likely - the opposite is true.
Secondly, it is not a matter of whether the bible "conveniently forgot" to mention life on other planets (if, indeed, there is life on other planets), or whether, if God did create life on other planets, mentionning explicitly its creation would have added to the message behind the scriptures.
Thirdly, humans would remain the "apple of His eye" regardless of life existing on other planets or not - since there is already a great abundance of life on earth outside the human race. The only possibility that this would not be true would be if there was another life form with the same capacities for spiritual awareness other than humans, and even then humans may have a special relationship, since the Bible refers to angels who have possibly greater spiritual powers, etc. but are considered lower than humans in the eyes of God.

You are extrapolating from a black and white picture which purportedly shows that water has flowed on mars. How does this in any way show that there is or was life on mars?!
And even if there is life on Mars, it doesn't have to be in human form.. it could just be algae. How does that in anyway negate any religions teachings.
Finally and this may come as a surprise to you but the Quran and the prophet Muhammad told the muslims 1400 years ago about the Universe, planets, sun, moon, stars etc.
What I also find very amazing is that you can start believing just by looking at a picture that there was or is life on mars. Yet you can be ignorant to all the evidence of God which you find on this earth!

I saw that myself.
1. Why wouldn't their be other worlds. Many believe that God always was. If that's the case then what did he do before the Earth. The Earth was never "always was".
2. He's all powerful, why couldn't he have another planet even now?
3. So What?! although the possibility of life on mars is interesting, It doesn't affect my salvation one way or the other. I'm not going to make a religion out of it......actually now that I think about it........

God does not tell us that there are people living on Mars and you sure don't know that either. You have been watching to many x-files. If there were other people on other planets then the Lord Jesus Christ would have to go there and die for their sins and will never happen because He died one time for the sins of the world. Satan fell on the earth and not on Mars. When you find people on mars come and tell us but until then don't be telling lies.

Eh well in case you didnt notice evolution on earth has also been proved!!I think thats a bit more relevant to the whole debate than Mars is.
Why do they have to be religious "nuts?" Let people believe in what they want, what harm does do?Don't you have more important things to do in your life than worry about other peoples beliefs?

Science still can't make up it's mind, eh.
How many billions have they spent to draw the same conculsions Newton postulated for free back in the 1800s!
Why is it SCIENCE can't DEFINITIVELY prove it one way or another. What's science's problem. Does it have the same issues over what constitutes life as it does over what constitutes a planet.
How many billions of dollars on high tech gear does it take to prove it one way or another.
What will YOU do in 500 years when science spends 1 million trillion to explore Mars with humans and finally publish a conclusion that there NEVER WAS life on Mars!
How would you feel then!
Would you feel 1 millioni trillion dollars was money well spent to say there is nothing but Sand and Rock on Mars!
Tell me. Do we have pictures of that life crawling on the ground. Is it waving at the camera. Is it holding up a sign that says TAKE ME TO YUR LEADER.
More importnatly, it is infectious and if Man goes there and comes back with it, might it kill all life on Earth in 50 years.

Water does not necessarily mean life. Yes that is the main substance that you and me are made of, but water doesn't create life. Even if there is water on Mars which it looks like there is doesn't mean anything to me. Water has also been found on one of Saturn's moons too.

Mostly, they will ignore it. Which is not inappropriate, as life on Mars is not yet a done deal. If/when it is established, they will do what they always do: claim that god can do anything he wants to. Which, of course, explains nothing.

how extremely vitriolic of u dear.
a pity u don't seem to match the sound of that word particularly, really.
and if they subsequently prove that life does not exist, will u be saying thank You for ur life and everything u have??
i find it irritating when people presume that they are so much better than sooooooo many "deluded" others.
but i still luv ya.
i would love to discuss further with u but as a friend, not as an enemy.
