Does anyone else out there ever feel like they are DRIVEN to squander time, KNOWING that they have things they should be doing? I feel like it is an addiction, similar to drinking or smoking or porn. I can vow to stop and actually KNOW that I am wasting time, the moment that I'm doing it, and yet I plow ahead and waste more time, regretting it later. Anyone sympathize with this? Any psychologists out there who can answer it? Would a book help me or is this problem deeper than that?

A fellow bought a new Mercedes and was out on an interstate road for a nice evening drive. The top was down, the breeze was blowing through his hair and he decided to open her up. As the needle jumped up to 80mph he suddenly saw a flashing red and blue light behind him. "They'll never catch me, " he thought to himself and opened her up further.

The needle hit 90, 100 110 and finally 120 with the lights still behind him. "What in hell am I doing?" he thought and pulled over.

The cop came up to him, took his license without a word and examined it and the car. "I've had a tough shift and this is my last pull over. I don't feel like more paperwork so if you can give me an excuse for your driving that I haven't heard before you can go!" he said.

"Last week my wife ran off with a cop, " the man said, "and I was afraid you were trying to give her back!"

"Have a nice night, " said the officer.

My ex broke up with me 5 weeks ago. We both still loved eachother bu the needed time alone to get his life together, and we were fighting constantly about little things.

2 weeks ago, he text messaged me one night and called me the next. I waited 2 days and the called him back. We chatted for about twenty minutes (very casual conversation). At the end he told me to call him sometime and that we should get together for coffee.

I never called him b/c everyone told me that I have to let him contact me, dont be at his beck adn call and so o. I still love him and want to be with him. Should I call him now? Is it too late? Why did he want to get together? Is he mad that I didnt call? etcc.

Any help would be appreciated

I don't get much money at all in a month. My children mean the world to me and I feel that i am letting them down. I just run out of oil, and don'tknow what to do about that either? Someone please help me. I will go without eating before my children ever will, which isn't a big deal, but I just don't know what to do anymore

I had my clutch replaced a few months ago. On my 1996 Toyota Paseo I was at a stop light and attempted to leave the light in first. Howeve when I released the clutch pedal the whole car would shutter violently (Like the engine was about to die)
.Later as I was driving home I heard a grinding noise but the shuttering had stopped. To me it sounds like it has something to do with the clutch any other opinions? Thanks in advance for any possible answers.

yesterday I had a fight with my mom. by the way I am 21. I have a full time job. and school. my parents don't want me to do anything but work. 5 days ago I got a deer. It's been dressed, skinned, and quartered. The meat has been hanging for 5 days at 33 degrees. There is some loose hair on the muscle, and the outside surfaces of all the quarters are hard and leathery. I have several summer sausage kits from Cabela's.

Do I put all this in the grinder or do I sort of shave off the leathery hairy portions of the meat first?
