Is it better to take it to an actual Kia dealer or a national chain repair shop like Tuffy or Midas. I want the cheapest, but I don't want to get screwed over.

In Indiana Jones and other such movies, ancient buildings like pyramids are always rigged with booby traps and other mechanisms to kill intruders. Did any do that in real life?

I tried meetup.com but they don't have much going on. Can someone tell me where I can meet Canadians/Americans and Europeans in Taipei City, Taiwan? I might go live there for two months next year, so i'm just trying to meet some new people. Thanks.

Our red eared slider is approximately 2-3 inches in diameter (about the size of a silver dollar). We believe it is a female because her "red ear" is very faint and her front claws are short. Her tank is mostly water (3/4 water, 1/4 land) and she prefers swimming much more than basking usually. Tonight she has begun to burrow frantically in the rocks on the bottom of her tank (the bottom is covered with small aquarium rocks with some medium and large-sized river rocks for her to bask on and swim around). It seems as if she is trying to wedge herself in between the rocks to hide herself. The water temperature is the same as always and she hasn't been acting any different lately. We're not sure of her age (and because she's so tiny we're not sure if she's capable of laying eggs yet) and we don't think she has any reason to hibernate (she's still eating well and is active). Any advice would be much appreciated!

When we go to the Bahamas, lot's of the nicer hotels have Canadian and American flags at the front, or at the back near the pools. It's really weird, because it's not in Canada or the USA. I guess I can understand that they put up the American flag since lot's of the hotels are American, and Bahamas are near Florida, but then why Canadian? But it still seems weird to have the Canadian and American flags at hotels in the Bahamas.

Sean Bell had just as left a raunchy and notorious strip club at 4:00 A.M. in Jamaica Queens (a "bad" neighborhood, if there ever was one) the morning of his WEDDING DAY when he was shot by police. He ignored warnings of a police officer to stop and eye-witness accounts have the "victim" knocking the cop to the ground twice with his vehicle. Sean Bell and his "buddies" were not "choir boys." They learned a valuable lesson regarding the importance of carefully following the instructions of a police officer.

I am tired of families telling us what good boys their sons are when they have arrest records (I could imagine how many times they were never caught) and are doing wrong when a cop takes them down.

Eye-witness accounts certainly seem to be supporting the police version of events. The "phantom" 4th man has now been identified and he has called his lawyer (what a shocker).

The Black community needs to stop blaming the police and start doing some soul searching.

I'm pretty sure I'm gay, and I would like to date men and start a relationship. But in my community, there are still many homophobics and even homosexuality is not considered absolutely normal and natural. Therefore I dare not to identify myself as a homosexual in my family, my school, my community etc. But I'm reaching 19 and haven't dated any person yet, and now I feel a strong sense that I want to date a men. How can I do so in less liberal societies?

Every night it seems to be a battle with her. We have an 8 yr old and a 4 yr old sleeping in the same room together. The 8yr old can not sleep with the radio or night light on... and the little one can't sleep without it. How do I break this habit? Also my youngest seems to have problems with objects that you wouldn't think is normal. If a clock has been disconnected and it blinks...it bothers her. If things are out of place it bothers her. We are un sure why. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks!

I haven't used my dishwasher yet since I moved into my apartment, but everything else works well, so it's probably a good one. I didn't have a dishwasher before, so I don't know if you actually have to scrub everything off before I put it in or if it'll just take care of everything. And if I can get it to take care of everything what setting do I have to use -- would it be "heavy wash" or "normal wash" The dishwasher's a GE if that matters. Thank you.
