u have to surely pay for the 1 GB connection that is Rs.500 if u r living in India whether u use up the 1GB or not.....And for ur information working on the net in any ways be it browsing or chatting or mailing also means u r downloading something
Many are with the misconception that browsing doesnt cost u ur GBs but its wrong....Browsing means u r downloading a html page and u r viewing it using ur browser...so that also comes under downloading...As long as u dont exceed ur 1 GB limit u will have to pay the Rs.500 or watever tariff is applicable...if u exceed that u will have to extra amount for every MB that u download...So dont be under the misconception that browsing is not downloading and check out ur account usage page of ur ISP regularly

When ever you go on net for any reason, i.e. Chatting, Mailing, Surfing or Downloading, every byte will count as downloading.

whenever u surf a website the pages r downloaded to your disc so even if u dnt download and jst surf still it is counted in your limit of 1GB

it may be 1 gb data transfer. then it will cost u whrn u surf.
