Where is a good place to meet Canadians and Europeans in Taiwan?

I tried meetup.com but they don't have much going on. Can someone tell me where I can meet Canadians/Americans and Europeans in Taipei City, Taiwan? I might go live there for two months next year, so i'm just trying to meet some new people. Thanks.
