its really irritating. everytime i have a big exam coming up, i never sleep well the night before the paper. i probably get about two hours sleep for nine hours of exam papers a day. i go to bed on time, but i cant sleep. i feel so tired when i am awake, but as soon as i hit the pillows, my head starts running with all the equations and the regular- what-if's . what can i do to make this stop?? it is ruining my performance on the exam papers!! and as soon as the exam finishes, i am able to sleep fine once again. this makes me very fustrated. i tried warm milk and butter toast, i tried listenint to soothing music, i tried counting sheep, i tried listening to the aircon. how do i turn my head off?? i also tried meditating in some yoga poses and concentrating on my breathing, but this makes me seem more awake as i am concentrating!! this sucks big time ppl! pls give me a better help than telling me to just relax, because clearly, i canttt! help pppl!! =)

My large german shepard and my brussel shutzi were playing (I think) and the little guy got hurt, I think he might have broken something because he starting yelping and now can't really walk or jump up, It happend about half an hour ago, my mom wont be home for another six hours so I cant take him to the vet, what should I do?

Question Details: 3 months ago I told my girlfriend I wanted to take some time apart because things were moving fast, and we were getting pretty serious. My girlfriend was very upset, but I insisted and we didnt see each other for a month. When I realized how much I loved her I asked her to take me back. At first she was still angry at me, but after a few weeks she finaly took me back. We have been happy for the past two months, but last week I asked if she had dated anyone while we were apart - I did not. I found out she not only did date but she even slept with someone she knows from the gym and someone from work. The past few days I have been trying not to take it out on her that I am jealous. I know it is my fault and I gave her the freedom, but how do I get rid of my rage without showing it to my girlfriend. I have been asking her all the details of what happened and my girlfriend feels uncomfortable telling me, but I feel I need to know. Is this bad? Please give me advice if yo have any!d

Okay, I've got some great answers to my first question about menstraul blood being unclean which explained a lot (from a hygiene perspective it does make sense).

So now, understanding why the Bible (and many other faiths) said it was unclean THEN, why, when we know how the biological process works, do some people in some faiths (I'm not going to say ALL Christians, Muslims, Jews or what-have you) STILL consider menstruation "unclean"? I can understand it when people didn't take regular baths, there was limited sanitation for well water, etc., and no one understood biologically where it came from, but now that we know how the menstrual cycle works and know that menstrual blood (and the uterine lining contained therein) is designed to sustain life, and have better sanitation (pads, tampons) to deal with the "messy" aspect of it, why do some people STILL consider it unclean? I've seen posts from others in here that specifically use the word "unclean". Why use that nowadays? Thnx!

I was supposed to start my period yesterday. It may just be a day or too late, it has done that before. But, i have been having cramping like i am going to start my period for the last 4 days, and nothinghas happened. I have also had a clear discharge around the time the cramping started. Here's the deal, my parents are going to visit my older brothers in college (a 4 hour drive) and I can come along too. I really want to go because we're gonna go shopping and out to eat and of course I miss my brothers. But, my dad and I have been having some well, umm 'troubles' getting along lately and everything is really uncomfortable between us. I just honestly can't enjoy myself when he's around. He's just done too much for me to forgive him (and im not just being stubborn here). I also really like the time I get to be by myself at home, so it's not like it's that much of a sacrifise. So, what do you think? should i stay home? or go with my parents to visit my brothers?

I have Nero SmartStart and it says " file is not compatible" whenever I try to open .avi video files onto the "Nero Digital Video Disk" selection...
