Does anyone have any suggestions for wedding favors? I am getting married on waterfront at a lake house next june. I was wanting something unique/different for my wedding favors. Most people that get married on the beach have favors that are themed with the beach. Shoudl I do something "lake" themed? Any help is great!

Is there not a section on this yahoo question service that allows adults to ask and answer adults!? upon looking at the crime stoppers for my city, It is a fact that black males committ the most violent crimes including murder and robbery and hispanics follow close behind. white men seem to have the lead on sex offending. I don't see much crime among the asian and islamic communities although my city has a large population of both. It is obvious certain races commit certain kinds of crimes more than others. Why can't people admit that? It is so obvious. I know I am going to get answers mentioning white collar crime but I'm not really concerned about that when there is all these violence against people crimes. I'd rather lose my retirement plan (If I had one) because of a corrupt company than be raped and murdered by some thug

I used to date this guy back in 8th grade. Well yrs pasted on and i had moved to a different city but we would meet up every time i wennt to visit.
He would pick me up at all hours or when he came to visit my city would come to visit me and stay with me and would drive hours to go pick me up from where i was to stay with him. Well after the last time i saw him he left back home and i called him one night and left him a message about everything and went to bed.
Wel the next day he called me with his gf on the line, Which i never knew he even had, and told me to never call him again, to get out of his life, and that i ruined his life and he didnt want anything to do with me.
Well 2 yrs have passed by and he sent me this message to my myspace...."hey girl, i just wanted to say say im sorry about what happened in the past. you mean alot to me and i dont want to lose that. you look beautiful as ever! you take care of yourself ok.

what do should i say to him???

I'm planning on moving to Oregon in a few months and after reading things like this http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2004/08/295320.shtml I'm somewhat concerned about racism (hostile stares/ racial slurs etc.) being an issue for me and my interracial family once we move there.

I am aware of the fact that prejudice and ignorance exists EVERYWHERE. I’d like to know more (from Portlanders if possible) before I move there.

Let me paint a picture about us in case it helps...

We’re a family of five. We’re vegan, liberal, “hippiesh“, my husband is white/Hispanic, I'm biracial (german, black, hispanic) my 9 year old girl is white/hispanic, my 5 year old boy is dark skinned with straight black hair ( Taino) and my mom who's coming along with us is hispanic/black.

Also, it would be of great use to us if someone could please let me know about the general attitude towards minorities in other areas/burbs such as Beaverton, Gresham, or Vancouver Wa. etc.
