Hey guys I have a question about starvation metabolism. Okay, so since the beginning of September I have not had one single day where I have eaten more than 1000 calories. I have lost a lot of weight and I tend to fluxuate between 700-900 cal a day, and I work out 4-5 times a week running for 40 min on the treadmill. Since Sept I have gone from 120 to 110 and at first I only walked on the treadmill but for an hour but 2 weeks ago I started running. I noticed that I started shedding fat since I switched to running. My question is this: I have heard numerous opinions about STARVATION METABOLISM. How many is actually starving? I am 5'1 and weigh 110 and I eat 4-5 meals a day, all healthy things like whole grains, lots of fruits, veggies, tuna and salmon, chicken, and yogurt, cheese and milk. I never have more than 1000 but I never get hungry and am always energized. Is 800-1000 cal really considered starving? Ive been doing just fine!

My friend thinks he's really skinny, and I think he might be using these weight gain shakes and stuff like that in order to bulk up a bit. The thing is he's not actually that skinny and in truth if he wanted to look better he could actually do with using a few pounds. He thinks he's so skinny because he always used to be (at school and stuff), but he's really not anymore. How can I tell him to stop being so stupid and to get on a diet? lol

I sent a text to a male best friend and he mostly doesnt answer them I wrote that I had hurt my leg a bit and then said " how are you.? It would be really nice if you answer xxx" I now feel that he would think I was ordering him to reply as he didnt reply and I know thats how he thinks. Would you think that i was ordering him to reply I just meant I would be very happy if he did reply Am I wrong or is he just very nasty to me as he knows I get upset when he is angry and I sent him a text saying Am worried you are angry...... My periods were fine when I was on the pill. I got married, and went off the pill to conceive but I still haven't even had my period and it's been 6 months. I can understand it taking a while to get your system back in order, but not having a period kindof scares me. Could there be something seriously wrong?
