It is totally possible. And quite sexy if they have a cute butt. Most Male Strippers wear thongs. Try it you never know you just make like it, if you don't she will at least give you credit for trying. You never know she may make it very worth your while. It's not madness, relax no reason to be scared, just think of the rewards!
I do however believe you should get a male thong not just wear a girl thong because of obvious reasons. A girl thong would definately be too tight and uncomfortable.
I've included some links to some good online stores.... Calvin Klein even makes them for guys. I would however draw the line and say no G strings, there is a difference!

Well the only men that I can imagine who would want to wear thongs would be a male stripper, which is why she probably wanted to see you in one. She could want you to do a "performance" for her... If that's your thing so be it, if not, let her know... Good luck!
