men say they want a lady in the street and an expert in bed..no shyness or anything..does this really help in a sexual relationship?

I think it's: "...a lady in the streets, but a freak in the bed." But over all, yeah, it's true! if you can't keep it interesting in the bedroom, that makes it almost impossible to achieve anything else. (strong communication, or unbreakable trust for example)

As long as both partners are able to communicate what they want in the bedroom without all the silly shame, guilt, fear and other nonsense the Religious Right tries to instill in people, then it's all good.
