Okay. Thanksgiving day, I had all my relatives over my house. There was no place to park in my driveway, so I park in the street, just in front of my driveway. Later that night I go out to see a movie (me and my brother went in his car), come home and see my car smashed up a little bit (now it is backed into my driveway).


Turns out the neighbor backed into my car while I was gone. At first she’s telling me that if I need any of her insurance info, its no problem... then she follows up and says "even though your car WAS parked illegally.."


She’s also claiming that I was parked in front of her mailbox, which I know I was not, because I am always conscious about doing so. However- her son is a cop and I’m afraid he can make the story fit however he wants. (He was standing beside her, out of uniform pretty much to intimidate me)


So my question is- is she not fully responsible for this incident?
Roads were fine and everything. By the way I am in Michigan. Thanks in advance

I'll be there for about a year with my brother. We're trying to decide whether it's worth it to buy a cheap car to travel and sell it when we leave, or take buses/planes/trains, etc instead. We'll more than likely be staying at hostels and not staying in one place longer than a month. We want to see as much of Australia as we can for as cheap as we can. Anyone who has been backpacking and has advice, please help!

She is 11, we have joint custody with the mom, she yells at her all the time and tells her she should just go live with us, but then won't really let her. My stepdaughter tells us ALL the time that she hates it there, and wants to live with us, but that she doesn't want us to do anything because her mom will get mad at her. When they argue, she tells her mom that we said she can come live with us whenever she wants the mom gets angry and asks why, and my stepdaughter won't tell her all the reasons she tells us, because she knows she will get in trouble by her. So the mom just thinks we are trying to take her for no reason and calls and yells at us all the time and tells us to quit talking sh** about her all the time.I feel like she is mentally damaging her by constantly yelling at her and hanging up on her, what can and should we do about this?

for the one i have been secretly in love for a yr.
i was hiding it but now i cannot
so this one day i had to write down my feelings or i feel like i was gonna explode
After that i read it and it seems really good...
you know the feeling when u cry, "that" feeling suffercating pain like?
well everytime i think about her or listen to music i feel that because i think of her....
so i just wrote out what i feel...
i think its good..

But right now she is angery because her friend's bf ditched her and her friend is really really depressed so now she is angery at her friend's bf ..
so i was wondering... if i sent the love poem to her she might just reject it because right now she probably only think love is hurtful??

What are your options?
and btw...
what should i do? wait or take action? Continue to be friends with her because fear of rejection? or take the chance be something more by taking action?

Well i like this one guy...But everytime I bring his name around my friend she tends to ignore me and doesnt say a word..And when me and him were getting along he gave me a nickname "rock buddy" Heh dont ask...Well thats what he did...and..My friend said, "he doesnt want to talk to me hes to busy talking to his Rock buddy!' I dont know what her problem is...I dont know if shes jealous or angry or WHAT!? I know this asian guy coworker and I teased him about asian women being bad drivers, but then he started agreeing with me. He said how it scares him to sit in the car with his aunt and sister and how his sister can't parallel park and they have to get out and switch seats, so he can park her car for her. Are asian women's driving really that bad?

I have been using the web mail and hotmail extensions to download my mail. All of a sudden the hotmail stops working and I get an error message talking about 'bad vibes'. I figured it was a virus but when I spoke with my brother (MIS Senior Tech), he said he was pretty sure that Hotmail was on to my workaround to get a service from Microsoft Hotmail that's only supposed to be available to paying costomers. (Who knew?) Is there a work-around-work-around I can use to get my mail back? I have already downloaded the latest patches and updates from the extensions and Firefox.
