What you do depends upon what YOU feel... does the idea of him having a crush on you flatter your ego a tiny bit or does it actually turn you on? If the latter, then you have your answer, return his compliment - if not, then tell him like any platonic FEMALE friend would tell him something like this... "I like you as a FRIEND and am flattered you have a crush on me, but I am sorry... I cannot cross that line with you and ruin what we have as a friendship as I just don't feel about you in that way, sorry. What we have as friends is special and I do not want to lose it, so please do not feel offended that I like/love you platonically as my buddy." That should let him down gently and save what you have as a friendship. Don't do a knee-jerk reaction either way you decide... there are deep feelings involved here. Good luck.

tell him you straight and not gay tell him you don't like him like that. If I was his friend I would try and make him straight, but that's just me. I don't know if I can ever be friends with a gay guy thou. That's sick.
