I know this asian guy coworker and I teased him about asian women being bad drivers, but then he started agreeing with me. He said how it scares him to sit in the car with his aunt and sister and how his sister can't parallel park and they have to get out and switch seats, so he can park her car for her. Are asian women's driving really that bad?

I don't want to sound sexist, but I think most girls are bad drivers. Not just Asian women. Girls just want to get from A to B. I think guys like to drive and personalize their cars. Especially, in Southern California. So, they tend to pay more attention to cars and driving.

I have to agree with you. Although it probably is not true, the guys perpetuate the stories and constantly tell it to everybody, even to those who dont ask !
Thankfully, when I see accidents on the road, the drivers are usually guys of different mixture of races. My conclusion?
Asian women drivers probably hit fenders and scratch doors but they dont maim or hit pedestrians and run red lights.

Asian as in Russia, Turkey, India, SaudiArabia, Iran, Israel.. all are Asian countries... or are you talking about the Oriental countries like China, Japan, Indonesia etc.. be more specific and dont generalize..

sadly i have to agree. i haven't met any asian woman here in the states that i consider a great driver. (including my wife). pararell parking is the worst.
