One summer evening, during a violent thunderstorm, a mother was tucking her small boy into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, "Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?"

The mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. "I can't dear," she said, "I have to sleep with Daddy."

A long silence was broken at last by a shaken little voice saying, "The big sissy."

A lonely frog telephoned the Psychic Hotline and asked what his future holds.

His Personal Psychic Advisor tells him: "You are going to meet a beautiful young girl who will want to know everything about you."

The frog is thrilled, "This is great!

"Will I meet her at a party?" he croaks.

"No," says the psychic, "in biology class."

When does the pill take effect?

I'm just about to go on Alesse, and I wanted to know how long I have to wait before the pill kicks in? If I start taking the Pill the day of my period, and have not been on any oral contraceptives before, am I covered as soon as I start taking the pill, or do I have to wait a month for the effects to be felt? (I.E. would I have to use another form of birth control as well for the first month?) Thanks.

Passport question?

I am leaving for new zealand on December 3, I applied for a passport and already have my tickets.... My question is when I got married I never changed my name on my social security card so it is still under my maiden name, Is that going to make a difference? My driver license states my married name. What should I do if it will.... I have a flight that is non refundable....My mom pointed it out and i can't find any information to see if that will make a difference. So if someone could help or at lease give me some answers I would really appreciate it. If it will make a differnce could some one tell me what I should do?

Are non U.S. persons subject to the laws of the United States?

Amendment XIV:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

what i really want to know is: can they put someone to death, who is not at war nor with miltary nor comitted a violent crime? if they are not a U.S. citizen?

having asked that... The 14th amendment clearly states u are not a citizen if the United States of America until birth, this means that unborn children are NOT U.S. citizens, does the U.S. have jurisdiction over non U.S. citizens?

why do people force my friend into things?

my friend who is a girl doesnt like her pictures being taken, i have seen her pictures, they come out awful! she looks quite good in real life though (well of course she has her bad days, and apparently quite a few, but generally speaking she is very cute, and i think she knows that!) now if she doesnt want her pictures to be taken, then why do people force her to? like they literally use their physical power to drag her into the picture. fine, they like to have their friend/family member in the picture, but isnt it a kinda selfish reason? i have seen her cry when she sees her "ugly" pictures, is it really worth it? those people need to give her a break. friendship/family love is not all about taking pictures, is it?

Am i pregnant.?

I took the morning after pill on the 13th of november...within 24 hours of having sex. I had a period on on the 1st of november and it lasted until the 5th. After taking the morning after pill... i found myself having another period just 2 weeks after my last one. This period started on the 18th of november and ended on the 22nd of november. My stomach looks bigger than usual. Could i be pregnant or am i fretting over nothing? Thanks for your help! much loves xxx

Can a 7 year old Little girl flashed a knife as she tries to steal toys in Wal-Mart?

Largo, Florida - Largo Police are looking for a little girl who pulled a knife on a Wal-Mart clerk as she tried to steal two boxes of Lego toy blocks.

It happened on the Missouri Avenue around 9:00 pm Tuesday night.

Police say the 7 to 8-year-old girl hid the toys under her coat and tried to walk out the door.

A store employee was watching and approached the child, asking her to turn over the Lego blocks.

Police say the little girl then opened her jacket and displayed a combo carving knife with a forked point and a 10" blade, saying she was armed for protection.

The employee talked the girl into putting down the knife and the toys.

The girl then rode away on her bicycle.

The employee was not hurt.
