I bought a 6 year old Shih Tzu female from an irresponsible breeder. When I picked her up, she was a little under weight and mopey. The lady didn't really want to sell her then because she believed that she was likely pregnant since she was swollen and rejecting males.

I have never done this before but I am learning everything I can as fast as I can. She has had her shots, been dewormed (by me courtesy of the vet) and is doing well. But... the one thing I can't seem to find is how long from conception before they start rejecting all males?

I've had her for almost 7 weeks and I'm trying to pinpoint a more accurate date. I'm off to buy a rectal thermometer today. The veins in her abdomen are getting very noticeable and I can distinctly feel approximately 4 different pups "kicking" and rolling. I also have my vets after hour number and a whelping area, supplies, and help arranged.

what has the world come to?......my life never seems to get good, and it will never do. im really depressed and only 16, my mother has been cruel and evil to me, i cant cry because of the mental torture she has put me thru. she has made me want to die, i drink myself stupid because of alll the stuff thats happend between her and i. i now live with my stepdad because i cant stand too look her in the eye's or be anywhere near her. when i was 3-4 years old. my real father used to beat her silly. and i seen it all. her and my real dad put me in a cupboard to sleep in. it was practically my bedroom i had no bed, on a 1 seater sofa to sleep on. they put newspaper on the floor for when i wanted to go toilet. they treated me like a dog and everything my dad did to her she blamed on me. i really dont know why. she has never told me she loves me. she will only tell me that when she is drunk. my heart is broken in pieces and i cant be happy and i hate it. i wait till the day i die.

This is my first time using a ovulation test, its the answers brand. I started testing on the recomended day and got two lines the same color. Every time i use one they come out the same with two lines dark, for 8 days in a row. does that mean im ovulating or not?

I have been im'ing a girl for months now. I let her vent and try to give her good advice. and they apparently had a drug party last night and now all of a sudden I am a pervert. I am a kind person , that has prayed for her when she needs help and many others. I just like helping others.
