My sons are being tormented by a neighborhood kid who will not leave them alone. He is an instigator and a troublemaker to all the kids, but he's kind of a wuss, too. Everytime the kids react to his bullying, he runs home and tells daddy, who steps in without finding out the whole story and threatens kids, parents, etc. As you can imagein, we (as well as another neighbor, who's dealt with this guy) are frustrated and angry. We've told our sons to stay away from this kid, but the kid seeks them out and talks shi*t and tries to start trouble (He lives 2 doors down and goes to the same school as my kids!). What I'm telling them to do now is just say "So?" or "What?" everytime this kid says anything to them - don't give him the benifit of seeing them get upset, you know? Anyone else ever had to deal with a situation like this? What did you do? How did you and you kids get through it?

my bf saw another woman for a little while, when we were apart (he is in the marines). He is back home now, and I forgave him, but yesturday i was thinking about it again. do I turn the pipe wrench clockwise or counterclockwise? Just asked and everyone said counterclockwise till a women said it made a difference if you are looking down or up at it, so which is right

Also It is plastic and stuck and bits of plastic are flaking off when I try to turn, if it is stuck, what will help loosen it? I don't want to break it. Thanks for answering both questions.

I have been married seven years. I will soon be going out of state for a week of training with a female coworker who is a good friend but also, frankly, 5 years younger, single, very attractive and somewhat flirtatious.
I am not concerned that I will misbehave. I am not concerned that my coworker/friend will misbehave either. What I concerned about is jealousy from my wife and people starting rumors where I work. I went on a weeklong trip with her and one other female coworker 6 months ago no problems, but maybe that was because there were three of us instead of just two?
Any help here? We both do need to go on this training and it really wouldn't be professionally meaningful for anyone else here to go with us.

I work in a hospital, and I am the one who goes to new mothers and gets information in order to print the fancy "complimentary" birth certificates they give to parents.

I went in and spoke with a lady this morning, and the name she said she was going to name her newborn daughter sounded like "Dee-ar-ee-ah" when she spoke it. I asked her how to spell it so we could print it correctly, and I kid you not, she said "D-I-A-R-R-H-E-A". I thought I had misheard her, and while choking back laughter, asked her to re-spell it for me. Nope....I heard right the first time.

As if that wasn't bad enough, their last name is BROWN!!!

I feel really sad and angry that in so many movies, people use God's name to swear with. And for what? For money?! I have thrown out all my movies where they abuse God's name, including my very precious collection of Vin Diesel movies, after I heard him saying that he hates God in "Pitch Black." Isn't it time we stood up for God? What will we say to God one day when He asks us about this? He stands up for us EVERY DAY. What possible excuse do we have? How can we stand up for God?
