I bought a rather-expensive wallpaper medallion (made by York) to put up on the ceiling of my daughter's room. The idea was to cover over a dull area where the ceiling had to be retouched after a smaller-base-diameter fan was installed. The mediallion is 36" in diameter and the ceiling fan (including the blades) is 52". I can cut the ornate wallpaper smaller if that would actually look better. It would be time-consuming but still look good, I think. Is there a rule of thumb for the diameter of the medallion to the width of a ceiling fan?

My daughter is 8 months. She has 2 teeth and eats stage 3 foods. She usually has turkey rice dinner or something but I read somewhere it's healthier to give her straight vegetables as opposed to that. Have you noticed the oily residue left on the bowl when feeding like chicken or turkey? It makes me wonder how healthy that is. I give her Cheerios, Fruit and Veggie Puffs and Wagon Wheels for snacks. I only give her 8oz of juice(4 oz water 4 oz juice). I stopped giving her fruit (because my mother kept her for awhile and would only feed her fruit and table food because she thought it was gross and she refused to eat jarred food which really pissed me off) except for once a day. I just want her to be used to veggies and I don't want her to prefer junk. I do let her try certain table foods just to get a little flavor. I don't want an obese child. I don't like a lot of sweets. I think if I can get her to eat them I should feed them to her. She eats ALL veggies. Any suggestions?

Oh where to start, well I've been mates with this guy for nearly 8 years and we've always had this flirtatous relationship, and I've always kinda liked him, but never admited it to him (big fat coward, fear of rejection). We hadn't seen each other for ages but we stayed in touch and he's always there in my hour of need, and vice versa. For the first time in years we met up and went out and now I can't get him out of my head. I really want to tell him how I feel, but I don't know if it's a good idea. I don't know if we'd be able to work past it if he didn't feel the same way, I don't know what to do it's really getting me down. I'd psyched myself up to call him and tell him tonight, but I couldn't do it, I'm a bit of a clown and I'm certain that unless I'm drunk I'm never gonna be able to tell him. When I saw him he kept hugging me, and kissing me on the head, (hmm....) but that aside I think I strayed too far into the friend zone what do i doooo. HEEEELP!!

want other people to give them advice on what to do because their dumb@sses didnt use some type of contraceptive and because of that they have an unwanted pregnancy. I think people should just shut up and step up to their soon to be responsiblity. If your stupid enough not to use some kind of contraceptive then its your fault if you end up with an unwanted pregnancy. Deal with it. Its real sad how people can can just sleep around and not seem to give a damn if they become pregnant or not! Its real and its life. I dont think people truly understand what it means when you have a baby out of wedlock. Babies need lots of money and lots of attention. It just really pisses me off sometimes to see questions like that.

I am wanting to lay ceramic or porcelin tile on my concrete floor. Should I put some type of vinyl sheet down inbetween the tile and floor. Someone told me that if the concrete moves this will prevent the tiles from breaking. Is this true. I haven't seen anything like this at the DIY stores.

My husband has always been a rather goofy guy and I love that but he acts like a child sometimes and it drives me crazy. When we get in arguments, he acts like a child by sticking his tounge out at me or saying "la la la la la" really loud while I'm trying to talk or if I say something he doesn't like then he will throw a fit, like a child...literally. I want to hit him with a pillow but that's not going to solve the problem. What are some effective ways to stop this childish behavior? FYI, He didn't really act this way until we moved in together. Any advice, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

OK I have to make a biodome for school that can support life using a real animal (a level 2 trophic animal) and live plants for a least a month. I'm thinking about using a newt but i dont know what they eat and what they need to survive (water, light, food, ect.)
