My husband and I just purchased a home which needs some brightening up. The house feels sort of "frumpy." It has natural hardwood floors, wood trim and the french doors are also the same wood. The kitchen has been updated to a more modern look already. I fear losing some sort of character or even value if we paint the trim but it is so dark. There isn't tons of natural light durring the day and I want to make the house more cheery. The walls will all be neutral colors blending from room to room so nothing too drastic. Mostly taupe / tans and off white. I would like to paint the trim a bright white or some shade of white. Do I dare?

An Eskimo is out for a drive one day when his car breaks down and he is forced to call out the Alaskan AA. The Eskimo stands in the howling wind and waits for the mechanic to arrive. When the mechanic reaches the broken car, he sets to work, looking under the bonnet until he locates the problem.

He looks up at the Eskimo and says, 'You've blown a seal, mate.'
To which the Eskimo hastily replies, 'No I haven't! That's just frost on my moustache.'

I've only been married a short time but my sex drive seems to have ran off. We still have fun together and I still love him but I'm having problems wanting to want him like I used to. We bought a new house and I'm consumed with bills and obsessed over my weight that I don't even care if I ever have sex again. He tells me I'm sexy every day but I just don't see it. Any advice?

There is a mad flurry of people looking around on the floor, then a Scottish man calls out " I will give anyone who finds it one hundred and fifty"

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse University professor Arthur C. Brooks is about to become the darling of the religious right in America -- and it's making him nervous.

The child of academics, raised in a liberal household and educated in the liberal arts, Brooks has written a book that concludes religious conservatives donate far more money than secular liberals to all sorts of charitable activities, irrespective of income.

In the book, he cites extensive data analysis to demonstrate that values advocated by conservatives -- from church attendance and two-parent families to the Protestant work ethic and a distaste for government-funded social services -- make conservatives more generous than liberals.

The book, titled "Who Really Cares: The Surprising Truth About Compassionate Conservatism" (Basic Books, $26), is due for release Nov. 24.

When it comes to helping the needy, Brooks writes: "For too long, liberals have been claiming they are the most virtuous members of America"

Boyfriend may be cheating on me but I am not sure and I do not hae proof. It may be because he is just busy with college classes and does not hae that much time with me. He talked about breaking up recently and being just friends but he does not know. He then wants to invite me to Thanksgiving dinner and stuff with his family etc. etc.? I don't get it? What's the deal with him?

I purchased it from someone who does not know the name of the original owner. (I know, fishy) I am trying to re-register it through Dell, but they need the name of the previous owner to proceed. I tried changing something on it that only the previous administrator could do, and now I can't run windows without entering the username and password. Is there any way to fix this problem or am I screwed?

My nookie days are over, my pilot light is out. What used to be my sex appeal is now my water spout!!! Time was when, on its own accord, from my trousers it would spring, but now i've a full time job to find the fuckin thing!! It used to be embarrising the way it would behave! for every single morning it would stand and watch me shave, now as old age approaches it sure does make me blue to see it hang its little head and watch me tie my shoe!!!!

A couple years back, me and my family visited Canada. I remember that while we were there, we visited a mansion. It was really big, beautiful, and well-maintained since it was built in the late 1800s, or early 1900s, with a projector screen, indoor bowling alley, and secret passages between rooms. Now, out of curiosity, I'm trying to remember who owned that place, and where it was, but my memory's a bit fuzzy. I remembered his name sounded like McGlocklin, because it reminded me of the Glock firearm, but don't remember the exact spelling, so it could be McGloclan, McGlacklon, MacLocklin, or something of the sort. I also don't rememeber his first name, exact date of birth, the exact location of the mansion, or how he acquired so much money. I was hoping someone from that area in Canada, or who visited it, and might know one of the things I don't, such as it's location, or the man's full name, or exact spelling. You can ask more questions if you want, and I'll answer if I can remember.
