Vana - I might appear to be thick here. What is your point?

I don't know what you'd call the trait, but non-whininess. So many people today- and I'll admit that I've been guilty of it at times- are just too dang whiny! All it seems that people do are complain about lives that are actually pretty good, or if they have a problem, will whine and gossip and bemoan- instead of GETTING STUFF DONE. I like seeing people who take care of business and don't get some sort of narcissistic high from complaining endlessly and making excuses for themselves. It's really very impressive when someone doesn't do that.

I was going to say 'integrity' but someone beat me to it, so I'll go for humour. If someone can laugh at themselves, or make a joke out of even the worst situation without getting all stressed out and moody, then they're a joy to be around. I wish I could be like that myself, but I'm not, so I really admire it in other people.

Moderation in all things...

from drinking, to spewing about poliitics, to food, to religious rants, to sex, to laziness, and so on. It's a trait that is rare these days. VERY RARE.

I haven't seen it in over thirty years and it doesn't look like I'm going to particularly now so what would be the point.
