Stamps? Do you use your tongue directly or you wet then by your fingers?

A soft wet sponge, so nothing gets too wet or sticks.
It's almost x-mas. My tongue would fall off licking all those tiny stamps and all those envelopes. I don't think anyone does that any more. Besides the glue has a real salty nasty taste.

I havent seen a stamp you need to wet in years. They all seem to come in sticker form now.
But back in the day I liked to lick them. Until I did envelope stuffing. Try licking 1000 stamps in one evening! It took weeks to get that taste out of my mouth!

Peel them off. I haven't seen lickable stamps since the 80's. You are definitely slow.

The stamps I buy are self-adhesive, just like stickers

Our stamps are peel and stick, no licking involved.

luckily they make stamps that stick that you dont have to lick
