At a local school , a kid thought it would been funny by putting in a harmful prank into the school paper. Saying that he's going to take a gun into school and shoot some people.. The district took a decision on expelling him for the rest of the school year. BUT that {some reason } made a stink , his parents wanted the superintendant and pricipal fired and started a support rally around wanting him back into school , because the punishment was too harsh.

a database for identification purposes to assist in resolving crimes in a timely manner? Fingerprints have been used for identifications purposes for almost a century. With our currect technology, don't you think a DNA database would be more appropriate? I just watched a progam wherein an Offender with a long Misdemeanor history had raped and killed an 80 year old woman. The only forensic evidence was his semen. It took over 6 years to arrest the Offender. What's your opinion?

Hello,
We have an external light for lighting up our porch. The cover is roughly 9"X4"X4" that 4 screws hold in place. When the light burned out, I found that the type of light-bulb it uses is the type that plugs in. The bulb in question has 2 little prongs about 1/4" long at roughly at the 2 & 8 o'clock positions.

What type of light-bulb is it?

I didn't know what else to do. I went to the campus police about him and he threatend me and my brother.
He follows me around college and stands by the windows of my classroom and stares inside. He waits in the hallways so I have to walk by him. He asks around about the guys I have dated and starts to act and dress like them. He used to ask me out constantly, tell me I'm perfect and get angry when I'd always turn him down. He's gotten worse since I went to the school. I'm afraid to get a restraining order because they are so hard to enforce, and he acts on his anger. The last girl that did that to him wound up with slashed tires and sugar in the gas tank of her car. I'm positive I've seen his car parked outside of my house.
I never leave my house anymore, not even to go to school. I only see my friends when they come to my house to hang out (which is quite often as of late). I never open my windows or shades, and my door is always locked. Please, I don't know what to do. Help me.

I'm wondering if you are familiar with a paradigm. It's the idea that you can only consider something that fits into a certain mindset. Until that mindset no longer works. A good example was the Swiss Watch manufacturers when they saw a quartz watch. They thought it was ridiculous and lost the market share to the Japanese, because they could not consider that a feasible watch without the gears, etc.

So, to the atheists on here...you say you cannot believe in God because it does not fit in your logical world, or there is no scientific proof. Could it be simply that you are not open to a different paradigm? Perhaps it's because you want God to fit into your nice neat little box of rules and guidelines?
