These websites have lots of crafts for younger children. Out of al of them I have found DLTK to be the best because it even lists difficulty and age and has them sorted out by theme and holidays.

The best one I have done is so freakin' easy..
Get some regular rice, some food dye, clear, plastic bottles and packing tape.
Put the rice in an old container with a few drops of food dye (split the rice up if you are doing multiple colours). Get the kids to shake them all up and then lay them out on papertowels on trays to dry for an hour or 2. During the drying time you can get the kids to decorate their bottles.
When the rice is finished, get the children to put as much rice as they want in the bottles and then put the lid on and tape the top shut.
There we go! They've made rice shakers that can be appealing to all senses...
Sight: the colour of the rice, what they look like mixed together in the bottle.
Auditory: the shaking of the finished product, what the rice sounds like when it drops into the bottle.
Smell: they can smell the rice if they like before putting it in the bottle; describe the smell
Taste: cook some rice up before the activity as an introduction. ("hey, you guys like rice? well we're gonna put some in a bottle that we get to take home and keep!")
Touch: what does all the rice feel like on their hands? is the bottle smooth or rough?
Have fun!!
Here's some great sites...

Finger painting, bake some big plain cookies and let them decorate theirs with colorful candies like m&ms, jelly ranchers, sprinkles, etc... making puppets is okay too, let them tell a story with their own characters... like a little play.... ^_^
