Does Windows Vista have the XP product activation sequence?

I have a copy but haven't gotten around to install.

Yes, Windows Vista uses a product activation sequence ala Win XP

Windows Vista if installed now, usually has or requires a keycode... If you downloaded the Vista free version, you can upgrade from windows xp, and Vista will remain free untill I think January or February of next year...
