Please give me the reasons for your pick. I will definitely reward the most convincing answer. Thanks everyone.
Which running back should I play tomorrow: Shaun Alexander, Carnell Williams, Lamont Jordan, or Jamal Lewis.

Wow, that's a tough choice. Lamont Jordan is out because OAK sucks and they are going against a pretty decent KC defense. I say Cadillac is out too because he was always over rated. He had 3 good games as a rookie and has never produced the same results since. That leaves Shaun Alexander and Jamal Lewis.

My logic is usually to always play your stud, in your case Shaun Alexander. But we Holmgren already said Shaun won't play the whole game and I'm sure he'll be a little rusty anyway. I live in Atlanta and the Falcons defense has A LOT of holes in it due to injuries. As much as I'd hate to see it happen, I think Jamal Lewis will have a pretty good game against ATL. If the Ravens can move the ball downfield you know Jamal will be getting touches in red zone situations. Atlanta's defense is weak, go with Jamal Lewis.

good luck

** I would also consider picking up waiver guys like Anthony Thomas (BUF) running for the injured Willis McGahee or Brandon Jacobs (NYG) who could get more touches if Tiki is still hurt. Jacobs had 2 or 3 touchdowns last week. **

First of all, I wouldn't start Shaun Alexander because they already said he would get just a few plays to test his injury. Carnell Williams will get you around 50 yards and one or two receptions for 10 to 20 yards. Jamal Lewis is against Atlanta and they are coming off of a terrible loss to Cleveland so I feel they have something to prove and will play the run tough. If you look at Lamont Jordan's stats against K.C, they are good(not great). I feel he will get you 80 yards rushing and 3 or 4 receptions for 30 yards and maybe a touchdown.

So I guess Jordan is your best answer even though I hope this is your second starting RB.

I would give the slight edge to Shaun, and only because he is playing the weakest rush defense of the four.

Alexander will only get 15 carries, if he's lucky, and he'll be even more lucky to make do with them.

Cadillac's team, particularly Jon Gruden is talking about going smash-mouth football, which is obviously good for the Pinto, sorry the Cadillac. Carnell has also been realizing that he has been trying to do too much and I guarantee he will do better than he has thus far this season in this game.

LaMont will break out this game, I'm sure of it, and it is only because he will be sitting on every fantasy roster;s bench. LaMont will do well as the year comes to an end; his quarterback is now better, his O-Line can't be any worse than they were 2 weeks ago and he will get more chances to run the ball. Don't be afraid to run the hell out of this guys if you make it to the playoffs and he is doing well.

Jamal gets tons of touches now and with a good D it is hard to sit him, but the fact of the matter is is that he gets only 3 YPC. That SUCKS.

With all that said and me being a bit drunk, I would go with Jamal. He should get the most touches and all it takes is one long play for him to increase his YPC.

Alexander because he is coming back off of that injury. He may see a limit on his carries about 25 but I still think he is the best pick from these 4 guys. Cadillac just can not get it going this year along with Lamont Jordan. Jamal Lewis would be my pick otherwise if you are worried about Alexander getting his carries. Hasselbeck still isnt starting so the hawks will have to run the ball alot tomorrow.

Alexander, even hurt, is your best Rb by far this year. Lewis is playing a tough defense, so scratch him. Ditto for Jordan (besides, when they fall behind OAK will have to throw the ball to attempt the comeback). I'm not a fan of Cadillac, but this game should be close which means plenty off carries for him against a not-so-great defense against the run. Alexander's touches will be limited and when this one gets out of hand, he will sit. Play Williams. he may be in line for a 20-25 carry, 115-135 yard, 2 TD game.

I have Alexander and I'm glad he's coming back. I would say he is your best choice because SF has a lousy defense and none of those other guys has looked great this year anyhow. SA has great upside potential.
