My boyfriends mother is a taurus and as long as I have known her she always seems grumpy. I remember my brother came over her house one time and she growled hello to him and said nothing else. When my mother and father had a grand opening of their new spa and invited her we had too d@mn near beg her to come in. And when she did she was not talkative at all. If I ever see her smile i swear i will pass out. My boyfriend said that his mother and stepfather(cancer) are soooooooo boring all they do is stay home and watch the news. I try strike up a conversion with her but she get so defensive so i say nothing. Me i am very friendly,i love striking up convo's and making people laugh. I am not saying all tauruses are like this by the way. Oh by the way she once told me and my boyfriend that the day me and him move in together is they day she knows that we are serious about eachother!

Okay here is my question, and I am looking for all answers, Please no kid answers
. Okay so we all are on here because we have questons some seem serious others are just bored people with no life and nothing better to do with their time. But what I want to know is when you post a guestion that is really stupid or just ignorant and you get a sarcastic remark for an answer why do you get angry and e-mail with a nasty comment? You posted it, and sometimes it deserves a sarcastic remark or comment. Or why when you ask a stupid or ignorant question and you get offended by the response, why do you run and report it as abuse? Can anyone out here help me figure out why these people get so upset when they act stupid.. IE: "is it required to have sex after you get married" HELP looking for some sense here.... :) :)

I knew when i was 18 i stole a bike got caught for it. It now on my record. I later got a call lady telling me i cannot go back for training, meaning, i lost the job ? can they do that after they hired me ? they should be checking this all before they put you throught testing, phone interview, computer internet test....it was long.... then they brough out the paper for record check after . can they fire me after i''ve worked for a couple a days ?

I liked this guy and no one really knew...
then yesterday he drunk dialed me...saying
"ur gorgeous, if anyone told u otherwise, i'd beat the hell out of them...u never call me so i'm calling u, we need to start hanging out...ur so pretty"

he was obviously drunk...so do ppl really say what they feel...or was it just the alcohol talking?!

also...i saw him today...he remembered the call he made...and he laughed about it...but other than that he was sort of distant...

To unravel the tangled web, is something mankind finds competitive. Be that as it may, could it be at times we create many of these conspiracies just to pose a threat to compete with others? Don't some people steal just to see if they get caught?
Dont some people do this, as if they are cheating at the Monopoly game? I wonder if the challenge is all some of mankind is living for and that we get trapped in this web and it becomes too serious and then there is no way out until we stop playing the game? Just curious to see what would happen if we just stopped playing these ridiculous power plays?

The meaning of life is the pursuit of happiness. Within our lives, individually, we seek nothing else other than pleasure and happiness (short-term or long-term) to keep us going. We do not live to go to work, class, or whatever. These are means of attaining some sort of happiness. Example: If I don't go to work, I will not have a roof to live under--hence, happiness will be hard to attain (for most people). So, what motivates us is the short-term happiness we seek (i.e. I have a hot date tonight!) or long-term (i.e. I want to find love, I want to see my sibling succeed). Everything else, whatever it is, is a means to this end. Whatever happiness is to the individual is up to them, but the only reason we live is to experience this--not to toil, experience sadness, or to reproduce.

What do you folks think? Agreeing is a viable option, but feel free to expound!
