i have nf type 1.i know everytjing there is to know about this. only thing is i have lumps covering my body arms and slight on face, id like to know if anyone out there with this with any advice/tips, on hw to help overcome this?. it affects me everyday, i hate looking in the mirror, i am blessed with 2 lovely children though one does not have it he has been given the all clear, not sure about my daugher though although it looks good as she has no marks yet ( she is 9 months old

I am getting ready to work 2nd shift and my children (10 and 8) would be home alone for 2 hrs be4 my husband gets home. My 10 year old is very mature for her age. Both of my children know what to do in an emergency. I will also have rules posted that will be followed. Can I get in trouble for this?

Any ideas? I think the Newcastle Beer® part was my own added touch; but the recipe called for brining the turkey overnight before cooking, and adding red wine to it every 1/2 hour or so in the oven. There was rosemary and whole peppercorns, maybe some sage, and a lot of other spices that made it absolutely fabulous. Does anyone have any recipe that's similar--or any idea as to where I can find this recipe again? (I found it on the Internet two years ago, and wrote it down, but alas!--during my move from Boston back to LA, the recipe got lost or thrown out.)

destructive i mean its unbelievable. He tears things up, not in a spiteful way but more like a 5 yr old way, broken rakes and brooms outside, little pieces of paper ect...torn up and left wherever. gutters off house and flattened candy wrappers lots of them on my front porch he leaves everything out wether it be bikes or food drink pitchers bread not wrapped back up chips a whole bag left the last place he had them wide open getting stale. i know it does not sound too bad but i havent even scraped the surface.when i ask him about it hes like oh sorry or i forgot or i dont know why my screen is in the neighbors yard.i dont know how 2 handle this. taking stuff away does not help...please any advice would help

My husband has 2 kids from his 1st marriage,I have 1,& we have 1 together.He sets rules for all of the kids, but only follows through w/ mine.I want all the kids treated equally!His kids are only w/ us 3-4 days a week, but they're about to come live w/ us full time.My husband travels a lot & I'm concerned what will happen when he's gone.All of the kids have chores, even my 4yr old.But his 13 & 10yr old are never made to do theirs.He tells them to clean their room, bring out their laundry, etc but then never checks to see that it's done....it's not!Same w/ homework & even showering.Part of me says it's not my place to follow through w/ his rules w/ his kids, but the mother in me doesn't want to ignore it & have them grow up thinking laziness & dirtiness is OK. They think b/c at their mothers house they can stay out w/ friends until 9pm on a school night & have no chores that it should be the same at our house. My husband doesn't see the problem & blames it all on teenage stuff HELP ME
