There are three symbols on my keyboard. the ` is achieved by simply pressing the button and ¬ is achieved by pressing and holding down shift whilst pressing the button but the third is a verticle line and I cant get to it no matter what I press. HELP!!

My granda, who passed away sometime ago, had 2 tattoos one on each hand, I thought they where unique but have recently seen older men with the same tattoos.

They where swallows or some sort of bird 1 on each hand on the fleshy part between index finger and thumb.

Could any one tell me their meaning if there is one as this has puzzled me for years???

my sister (his mother) and I are pretty much raising my nephew. and whenever we sit him down to eat he will throw his food. or dump it out of the bowl/off the plate. he is only 19 months old. we've ignored it, smacked his hands and even put him in time out. any ideas as to what we can do to get him to quit?

After moving away for 4 years, I recently moved back close to my hometown. While I was away, I gained 70 pounds. When we (my fiancee and I) lived in the other town (1 1/2 hours away from my home town) I was completely confident, now, since moving back I can't regain that because I'm around people now that I was around before gaining the weight.
