Grown ups often have to do the things they don't like to ensure they appreciate the things that they do like, if we only did what we wanted/liked to do we would in fact only able to seek self gratification and would become very selfish. People need to develop beyond their own self to understand and accept the difference in others, to be generous and in the end happy with their lives.
