The Great Gatsby is one of my favorite novels. I recently finished reading this book for about the tenth time, and everytime I read it, I can conclude that the ending is very disappointing. Any thoughts on the ending of The Great Gatsby, or on the book in general?

I was having a conversation with my dad earlier, we were talking about my little brother, I was trying to stick up for him because everyone seems to be laying into him for getting into a bit of trouble at school.

He's only 14 & having a hard time at home & at school lately & I thought my dad should give him a little bit of a break & stop having a go because he's only 14 & his hormones are probably all over the place.

ANYWAY!......My dad says I'm always on the offensive & have an answer for everything like I'm being attacked all the time. I asked him what he meant & he just said I always have to defend everything or have an answer in particular.

I see what he means but why do I do that? For what reason? Why am I on the offensive all the time? I don't understand & didn't realise that I did it! Can anyone help me understand?

so i'm shopping for a car and the one i'm really interested in is silver....the only thing is ...my mom is convinced that you cant see the silver on the road and things it unsafe and wont let me buy it....what can i do to convince her that its just as safe?

my soon to be ex filed for divorce sept. 25th, by chance I filed for divorce 3 days later. However, My papers were served on her 2 days prior to hers being served on me. The state allows 20 days after date of service to respond to the papers. Will she have to respond to my papers first or will her filing first be an advantage for her? Also I filed in the county in which we were married and lived for 3 years, she filed in the county where we last lived for a total of 7 months. What would be the proper venue? Thanks

Ok; so I smoke New Ports & I have been for about 2 years now; well all my friends said that they ended up coughing up blood so they stopped; I never have until tonight while I was in the shower. Gross I know, at first I was like well it's probably nothing but then it happened again; it was really gross. Does anyone know if this is just because of the type of cigeratte ? My friend John is freaked out; he things he has lung cancer which I seriuosly doubt; he thinks he has ever disease known to man when the symptoms come up haha . But yeah - if anyone has any information it would be great :]

she will not eat her meals just her formula. she has been taking little naps aday but not sleeping through the night anymore. She does have her bottom two teeth and has two top teeth and her two front ones are coming in now too but why such a big change now? it has been a month since she has slept through the night and now 2 days since she has really eaten good. She hasn't been cranking, except when I try to feed her. She has been playing, crawling, and standing up like normal. The minute I put her in her highchair she starts to get cranking. I even have tried to give her real mashed potatoes mixed with her food which she usually likes.....please help

I'm looking to buy 40 acres in Maine to re-sell and make a profit.I know that it depends on the area but I don't know where it is. My girlfriends mother's friend lives out West and is selling it cheap to get rid of it. The only information I have on it is that its wooded with no roads and about 7 miles from the coast. I went to prove it to another wasp expert and he played me a tape of three different buzzing sounds each one slightly different, i didn't recognise any of them as the european wasp so i aksed him if he had the tape on the right side he said he did but went to check when he returned he said "it appears you are right i had it on the B (bee) side"
