Last year I invited four people who were going to be alone for Thanksgiving to join me and my family. This year I'm not inviting them because none of them has made any attempt to contact me during the year, let alone invite me to anything!

I'm sure that there will be people alone on Thanksgiving. My mother used to cook a feast and then invite people in off the street to come in and eat. Sadly, you cannot do that today.

I hate to admit it, but yes I will be having Thanksgiving alone. This is ok though. I have resgned myself to this. My family lives to far away.

I will not be alone, but I'm not going to be with the people I love, either.

I'll be alone. My Family lives too far away (7000 miles).
And for Christmas and New Year, too.
