she will not eat her meals just her formula. she has been taking little naps aday but not sleeping through the night anymore. She does have her bottom two teeth and has two top teeth and her two front ones are coming in now too but why such a big change now? it has been a month since she has slept through the night and now 2 days since she has really eaten good. She hasn't been cranking, except when I try to feed her. She has been playing, crawling, and standing up like normal. The minute I put her in her highchair she starts to get cranking. I even have tried to give her real mashed potatoes mixed with her food which she usually likes.....please help

Teething maybe? Our son would go through phases where he was eating just fine, then not... could be growth spurts too. Don't stress too much... give it some time... also, with the new time change- my son went from sleeping until 8:30am to waking up at 4:30am and again at 7am. But after 2 weeks, he's back on track. Also, with learning lot's of new stuff- crawling, soon walking, etc, she could get really excited wanting to try out her new tricks... so that could distract her from sleeping/eating as well.

Goodluck.

I have a 16 month old daughter and I go through this every time she cuts new teeth. The last 5 weeks have been really tough, she cut 3 molars at once. They finally broke through, but then another tooth started coming in. That one broke through, we had one normal day and then she got a cold. Got over that just as another tooth started pushing up! Her mouth hurts so she mostly wants to nurse. It doesn't even have to do with the food because I always have a few jars of stage 2 and 3 foods to offer for when she needs the soft stuff. For her it just seems to be a comfort thing. Keep offering the food, but be patient until those new teeth break through the gums. Maybe give her some Tylenol infant drops or Anbesol for the pain (talk to her doc first). If you've ever tried to get a good night's sleep with any kind of aches or pains, you know what she's going through. Remember that she can't even understand what's happening to her which is probably confusing and maybe a little scary. Especially at bed time when there's nothing to distract her from her discomfort. If it continues after the teeth come in, I would have her doctor check her out. Good luck!

1- add oatmeal to formula. too much formaula is very fatening for the baby. oatmeal is better than rice bcz it is a whole grain, not processed. If she does not like the high chair it may be too tight on her or she may feel unsecure. also if she is being held too much this will cause a problem putting her down for anything. (i find that grandparents are usually the culprit!! )
2-you may want to stop the multiple napping. 1 good nap then no more sleeping until bed. keep the same bed time. you determine, not her. sounds mean but it is not.
3-if she is fussing durrning hte night she may need some motrine, if she wants to play she is getting to much sleep during the day and will get her days and nights mixed up. that would be very bad for you. i assume you work days or on a day schedule.

Don't worry about the food, just keep offereing the usual at mealtimes and when she gets hungry she'll eat it; if she's not, she won't. However, I would NOT put up with the nighttime thing. If she's slept though the night before, you know she can do it. You need to let her cry it out.

her teeth might be bothering her.. are you giving her Tylenol before bed? Also babies tend to eat more and sleep more more they are going through growth-spurts.. she may not be in one right now.... I wouldn't worry to much about it.. she's getting her nutrition from her formula
