Can anyone please tell me "ONLY" the pros about being in Iraq... Are things died down now. Give me some positive examples of troops coming home safely & benefiting from going to Iraq. Please... "NO CONS" just "PROS"... I need to hear good things right now. It's only been 2 days since he's left. Thanks!!!

He told me he didn't love me anymore...so why is he sending me e mails saying things like "hey remember when we had sex in....." or "I was at a bar last night and I started thinking about all those great times we had..." blah blah, remember when stuff. he knows I still love him...because I told him! I watch her 11 month old daughter during the week (my niece) along with my two children. Every time one of my kids or her daughter gets sick either with a contagious illness or not, she insists on bringing her daughter over. I have tried many times to stress how important it is to try to keep the children apart if at all possible when they are really sick. To no avail, she has a different belief system than I do, and was raised differently to say the least. My step son had pink eye last week and she brought her daughter over anyway, stating firmly that you can only contract pink eye from dogs and cats, not people, so that her daughter was at no risk. She was very irate about it. We have stickers in our backyard lawn (the kind that hurt your feet in the summer) and she insists that they are honeysuckles. She said that's what her mother told her when she was little and you can't tell her any different. (Honeysuckle grows on vines, not out of the lawn).

Today my 8 y/o daughter was watching the Disney Channel at 2:30 p.m. The show was The Proud Family. It is a cartoon. She does not usually watch this program, but it was what was on at the time.

I saw and heard this personally. On the program, 3 girls were having a conflict with another girl at school. One of the girls said "She's a bi-atch" (pronounced bee-atch) which is the teen slang version of b/tch.

The Disney Channel said bi-atch to our precious children at 2:30 in the afternoon!

My 14 y.o. dog is suffering from "doggie dementia" . The latest manifestation of this has deprived me of a good nights sleep 2 nights in a row. She sleeps then she has then sudden starts and jumps up and looks around or stares into space. Then after a minute or so, she gets all nervous/restless trying to find a comfortable spot on the bed....usually near my head or on top of it. Putting her in another room is not an option - she will bark and scratch and otherwise be more miserable. I talked to my vet today and he suggested giving her 40 mg. of Benadryl. (She weighs 43 lbs.) He actually said the pills come in 25 and 50 mg. and that it was safe to give her 50 mg. I have Benadryl that I can give her but I'm terrified to do so....it just sounds weird to me. Also, is 1 capsule of benadryl = to 25 mg? I have 3 pills but I don't have the original box. Anybody know? Please weigh in people. I really need to sleep well tonight but I don't want to unwittingly harm my dog. Thanks.
