If you have razor burn, then your skin is too sensitive to shave. And as for waxing, just imagine what your skin will look like after all the hairs are yanked out by the roots! EEEwwwwww! Forget trying to be bald down there - it's just a silly outmoded 1990s fad. Trim a little so it doesn't stick out of your bathing suit, but keep enough of the hair to protect your sensitive skin.

Maybe now you can sympathize with men! Shave in the same direction your hair grows and don't pull your skin so taut. And that Bump Patrol made for Black men's beards -- much like the hair texture you're talking -- is a great secret. It makes any red go away so you don't get ingrown hairs.

Razor burn shows they you cared enough to shave which is much better than not shaving. Don't sweat it!

Try using a shaving creme for sensitive skin with aloe and when finished, rinse with cool water so the poors close. This is recommended for anyone with sensitive skin no matter where you are shaving.

I'm the same way, NOTHING keeps me from getting razor burn down there except a wax.
