My ex had an ex wife and two kids, he lived with his mom and was in debt, he even owes IRS and sometimes his wages was garnished. He is also a motivational speaker, and is well known in his community for his atletic accomplishment in high school, college and even professional. He is a local hero and people admire and look up to him. He is very handsome and has a very nice body. What I don't understand is why is he so insecure, why is he always trying to shine and prove things to people. Why when he got an apartment he changed and treated me like he didn't care. We were always having problems because of his accusations and insecurities and I was always trying to brake up with him but he would never leave me alone. I feel that he changed me I felt myself being a grouch and being jealous and insecure. Two insecure people can't be together, I hated the way he treated people like he was above and always angry. He was a caring passionate romantic boyfriend but I just don't understand!

Several states had those legally shaky marriage amendments on the ballots, and I have heard a theory that a fair amount of African Americans, the majority who traditionally vote Democrat, tend to be against Gay marriage and these ballot issues motivated many to the polls to vote FOR the amendment and FOR the Democrats!

So, if this is true, could the neo cons have essentially cut of their nose to spite their face with those marraige amendment Gay baiting tactics?

I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and have to say that I am starting to get quite bored with the relationship. He isn't a loving person, doesn't ever want to go out to the pub and would rather stay in and watch the television all of the time. Before I met him I was out every weekend clubbing, but because he doesn't like clubs he won't go out with me even though I go to watch things that he wants at the pictures and do things at the weekends that he wants to do rather than what I want to do and makes it difficult for me if I try and suggest new things. Two of my what I would call close friends have both said that I should finish it, but I love him so much and just don't know if we need to go see a counsellor, or I have to sit him down and tell him that i'm unhappy. Thing is he won't change, and it's almost like he hasn't got a backbone doesn't have an opinion and just keeps plodding on with his life and is bringing me down with him - help!

My brother is 30 and was diagnosed with diabetes a few months ago. But he's in denial about it. And as soon as his blood sugar levels are stable, he stops taking his medication.

I want to make him realise that it's better to treat the illness, but I don't want to hurt his feelings, because I understand that it's really difficult to accept a long-term illness.
