I do know what goes into them, and having no problem with offal, yes I would, if they didn't have those chewy gristly bits you get in Brain's Faggots (the only type I've ever tried). Overall though (gristle aside) they're very tasty, although I'm sure it's the same as it is with sausages - good quality handmade ones wouldn't have nasty bits in them! I don't understand why people get so squeamish about offal, when they don't mind eating the animal's muscle and fat - it's delicious when cooked properly, very nutritious, and low in fat too! My partner and I regularly have fried liver and onions in gravy (my secret recipe), and it's always a favourite!!

I used to love the home made ones my mom made when we were kids, she always served them with mushy peas that had the meat of ham shank mixed in with them, yummy, I don't like the shop bought ones that are in the frozen food section at supermarkets, just not the same as home made ones at all.

When I was a lad in Cardigan, Wales we had them regularly. I think you can still get them in chip shops, as well as rissoles (really!). Don't care what is in them, they are delicious. Nothing like the ones you get in the supermarket.

In America, that word means someone who doesn't admit their own homosexuality. Strange context to our way of thinking.

I hate them, used to have to eat them when I was little, 'you'll have what you given' type thing...
Didn't like them then and definitely not now I know what's in them...
