On my ticket from MA State Police, it says "lane violation"....does anyone know what that is?

that ur not using signals(blinkers) to change the lanes

It could mean several things, possibly straddling the lane divider lines and not staying in just one lane, could mean one person in the car, but using the carpool lane, it could mean driving or passing on the shoulder/breakdownlane of the road, or it could mean changing lanes improperly by not signalling or cutting off other traffic. It is sort of a "catch-all" term.

You may have been driving in the car pool lane or changed lanes without signaling.

Usually that means that you were switching lanes without signalling. (I've been pulled over and warned for this before but haven't gotten a ticket thankgoodness)

a BS reason to pull you over and check you out. Down in the south we call it improper lane usage
