I am looking for a low cost, hand made or store bought gifts for several (30) people. My children are in a special day class,so they have teachers, and aids. They also have OT, speech therapy, and horse therapy. I would like to get them something that is not going to cost a lot but mean something.

I just noticed that my 2.5 years old son put some play dough inside his nose. Somehow I managed him to sneeze and got a small block of playdough(blue color) out. I cannot see anymore inside and he is playing as usual. Should I go see a doctor now, what else should I do?

Mormons believe that all righteous Mormon men can eventually become Gods (and their wives, goddesses). They believe that Jesus Christ is a created being and our older spiritual brother. They believe that the garden of Eden is in Missouri, and they believe that God was once a man, raised to Godhead by another God. They wear 'holy undergarments' to provide themselves with a form of spiritual protection. And these are only a few of their very controversial beliefs and practises.

But they see themselves as a mainline Christian denomination and reject the 'cult' label.

What do you think? Are Mormons Christians? Why or why not?

Okay, so this is an awefull subject to be bringing to a discussion board, but i need objective opinions and advise, so here it goes--i have been married for 5 years and we have a duaghter, we were married very young, 18 and 19, at the time we were both very immature and sometimes i think we only got married becuase i was pregnant, we have a alright marriage to the naked eye, we don't cheat, he doesn't beat me, we love our duaghter very much, and he is about the best dad ever and a great provider, these are the pros, here go the con's, i am not sure i love him like I should, he is still really immature, he thinks he has to drink everyday off he has and when he does he is very verbally abusive to me, and he has a horrible temper where he tends to break things in the house and throw things, so here is the question: do I wait it out and see if he grows up, or call it quits?

It seems that The Bible becomes less and less relevant the more we think about it and don't just take it 'as gospel'.
The oppression of women is one example where religion has been put straight in recent generations.
Nearly all Christians have already accepted that homosexuals shouldn't necessarily be put to death - although most still think it's a sin.
Many Christians have also had the sense to accept that the Bible may have got it wrong in proclaiming that the earth is just 6,000 years old.
And the creation of the world in seven days is seen by some as maybe just 'figuritively speaking' - perhaps it was a bit longer.
So it seems the more we think rationally about the Bible, the less pertinent it becomes.
If we take away all the irrelevant stuff, we are basically left with, "Be nice people. Amen."

Hardly need religion or the Bible for that, do we?

I was thinking of going back to college to become a teacher, but this counselor Chick told me I shouldn't because I'm not fit nor am I a good influence for teens. This Broad said I give the impression of being a sexist womenizer. Please, if a girl needs a lay, I'm there, as long as they don't get attached emotionally or they'll get their feelings hurt. Besides, kids today need to learn to be Men and women need to learn their place.
